Burke Mountain Athletic Park | Grand Opening
A new addition to Burke Mountain is opening this Friday!
The Burke Mountain Athletic Park, located at 3390/3400 David Avenue, is a new multi-use outdoor sport and recreation facility being developed in Burke Mountain to support the growing community.
Located alongside the Burke Mountain Middle/Secondary School, which is being built by School District 43 (SD43), the park is designed as a shared community space that will provide year-round access to sport fields, courts and active recreation amenities.
The Burke Mountain Athletic Park will include:
400m running track with lighting
Artificial turf field
Four full-sized tennis courts
Giving residents a new place to stay active, play, and enjoy the outdoors!
The City of Coquitlam is hosting a free community celebration from 5-7pm this Friday, with activities, including a ride-on train, mini golf, sport try-its and refreshments (while supplies last).
