About Port Moody, BC

Port Moody is the smallest of the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody) with a (2016) population of 33,551 and envelopes the East end of the Burrard Inlet. Port Moody is bordered by Coquitlam on the East and South, and Burnaby on the West. Located roughly 20 km East of Downtown Vancouver, Port Moody is an awesome city with small-town charm, yet not far from all the big city has to offer.

For the park enthusiast: Port Moody is home to Rocky Point Park, which spans across 3.8 hectares, with hiking trails, a water park, skate park, bike trails, playgrounds, picnic shelters and a boat launch.

Historically an industrial town, Port Moody has seen significant growth, specifically over the last three decades, including the addition of the Evergreen Rapid Transit Line in 2017.
